Instructions:
Soak a smallish bowl of rice in milk for an hour or so ahead of time.
Bring a half gallon of milk slowly to a boil with 3-4 whole eilachee, 1 cinnamon stick, and stir often while reciting Japji Sahib (at a normal pace, don't race through it).
When Japji Sahib is complete, add rice and boil, stirring constantly until full 40 pauree of Anand Sahib has been completed. Rice should be tender. If it's not, continue cooking doing Vaheguru Jaap.
When the rice is done, turn off heat.
Add a bit of ground eilachee, a little ground cinnamon, 1.5 small bowl sugar (use the same one you used to measure the rice), and stir well doing Vaheguru Jaap until everything is combined.
Serve hot or cold
